Eastman™ 1,4-CHDA-HP

1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid. Is an excellent combination of hardness and flexibility in one monomer. Possesses better gloss retention, yellowing resistance and better hydrolytic stability. Has excellent thermal stability for low resin color and high solubility in molten glycols. Imparts improved corrosion, stain, chemical, and detergent resistance. Also offers reduced “orange peel” in powder coatings. Is ideally suited for high-performance applications in automotive, transportation, industrial maintenance, aerospace, architectural, appliance, general metal coatings and gel coats.
