ACRYSOL™ TT-615 by Dow is a hydrophobically modified anionic thickener designed to give a very pseudoplastic profile in interior/exterior latex paints. It offers paints with high in-can structure and is ideal for use with thickeners designed to give high shear viscosity, which can build comparable to high molecular weight HEC thickeners at low shear levels.
  • It is BSE-, GMO-, APEO- and solvent free.
  • It offers good touch up and good roll out smoothness.
  • It is easy to handle and suitable for all binder types.
  • It exhibits excellent sag resistance and resistance to roller spattering.
  • It facilitates the formulation of textured finish paints.
  • It is low viscosity grade with broad formulation latitude and is used over a wide pH range.
  • It has excellent film build capability and is ideal for low VOC formulations.
  • ACRYSOL™ TT-615 shows resistance to microbe and enzyme attack.
  • Recommended for water-based industrial baking enamels, interior and exterior paints, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), water-based architectural and industrial coatings.
