ACRYSOL™ SCT-275 by Dow is an APEO-free, hydrophobically modified ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR) rheology modifier. It offers excellent balance of sag resistance and leveling, especially in paints utilizing vinyl acrylic binder technology.
  • It builds mid-shear (KU) viscosity while also contributing to high-shear (ICI) viscosity build, allowing for a reduction of high shear thickener usage.
  • Exhibits broad formulation latitude, improved gloss development versus HEC, excellent spatter resistance and broad latex compatibility.
  • Provides ease of handling and is used over a wide pH range.
  • It is suitable for all binder types.
  • ACRYSOL™ SCT-275 is designed for interior & exterior paints and wide range of sheen through high gloss paints, including low-VOC formulations
  • Recommended for water-based architectural and industrial coatings, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS) and industrial baking enamels.
