ACRYSOL™ RM-895 by Dow is a hydrophobically modified ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR) rheology modifier that utilizes ACID SUPPRESSION™ technology. It is a mid-shear viscosity rheology modifier offers improved performance in viscosity stability upon tinting and excellent sag- and spatter resistance. It offers low-viscosity, excellent flow and leveling and gloss development.
  • It is free of BSE, GMO, APEO and solvents.
  • It has broad formulation latitude, ease of handling and used over a wide pH range.
  • It has excellent KU efficiency in acrylic and styrene/acrylic systems.
  • ACRYSOL™ RM-895 is suitable for low odor and low VOC applications.
  • It is used in interior and exterior paints, high gloss paints, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), general industrial finishes and water-based industrial baking enamels.
  • It is in compliance with TSCA.
