ACRYSOL™ RM-5000 by Dow is a non-ionic hydrophobically modified ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR) rheology modifier. It offers a nearly Newtonian viscosity profile that yields a very appealing balance of flow and leveling properties and exceptional film build. It offers excellent brush drag, spatter resistance, hiding uniform film formation and gloss development.
- It is free of APEO, solvent, GMO and is ideal for low-VOC formulations.
- It has broad formulation latitude, ease of handling, utility with all binder types and used over a wide pH range.
- It results in excellent finished paint appearance.
