ACRYSOL™ RM-3000 by Dow is a non-ionic hydrophobically modified ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR) rheology modifier. It offers a shear rate profile that is highly Newtonian, which makes it very useful for building high-shear (ICI) viscosity and obtaining excellent flow and leveling. It offers ICI efficiency between ACRYSOL™ RM-2020 NPR and ACRYSOL™ RM-5000.
- It is free of APEO, solvent, GMO and has utility with all binder types.
- It is easy to handle with broad latex compatibility and offers improved gloss.
- It exhibits resistance to spatter, enzymatic and microbial attack.
- Ideal for low odor and low VOC applications and can be used over wide range of pH.
- Offers very low KU drops upon colorant addition with an excellent sag-flow balance.
- ACRYSOL™ RM-3000 can be used in high gloss paints, interior and exterior paints, water-based industrial baking enamels, general industrial finishes and exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS).
