ACRYSOL™ RM-2020 by Dow is an APEO-free, solvent-free, hydrophobically modified ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR) rheology modifier. It offers efficient high-shear (ICI) viscosity build and a Newtonian rheology profile. It can be used either alone or in combination with other rheology modifiers to impart excellent flow and leveling, film build, gloss development, alkali-, spatter and water resistance.
  • It offers broad latex compatibility and offerings across different sheer ranges.
  • It is BSE-, GMO free and is resistant against microbiological and enzymatic attack and is used over wide range of pH.
  • It is applicable for wide range of sheen through high gloss paints, including low-VOC formulations.
  • ACRYSOL™ RM-2020 is used in exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), utility with all binder types, interior and exterior paints, general industrial finishes and water-based industrial baking enamels.
