Chlorez® 700

Chlorez 700 by Dover Chemical (ICC Industries) is a solid non-toxic chlorinated alkane which is primarily used as a flame retardant and as a coupling agent. It is compatible with alkyd resins, as it offers good gloss and retention, rapid surface drying, good adhesion. Chlorez 700 is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and esters. It is generally associated with paints, coatings, rubber, adhesives, polyolefins, textiles & fabrics.

• The product provides good durability, stability, impart water and weathering resistance.
• It is used in a variety of paint, coatings, and adhesives applications, including chlorinated rubber, non-skid paints, intumescent flame-retardant paints to improve adhesion, water, oil, gas, and chemical resistance.
• It has shelf life of 2 to 4 years.
