Tint-Ayd® CW 5228

Tint-Ayd® CW 5228 distributed by DKSH is a resin-free, water-based, free-flowing phthalocyanine blue pigment dispersion. It is based on a blend of anionic and non-ionic additives that provides the synergistic benefit of exceptional pigment wetting and stabilization.

• It is stable, free-flowing, easy-to-use pigment concentrates designed for tinting and full pigmentation applications.
• It is freeze-thaw stable and does not support the growth of micro-organisms.
• It is formulated to be thixotropic to resist pigment settling and syneresis.
• It is compatible with water reducible and emulsion coatings systems such as acrylic, polyurethane (PUD) dispersion, vinyl acrylic, water-reducible acrylic, vinyl acetate, water-reducible alkyd, styrene-butadiene, water-reducible polyester, epoxy and water-reducible epoxy.
• It is suitable for in plant tinting and can be used as volumetrically dispensed colorants.
• Tint-Ayd® CW 5228 is used in aqueous industrial coatings including aerosols, concrete protection, general industrial finishes, general OEM, industrial maintenance, marine, protective and wood coatings.
• It has a shelf-life of 4 years.
