EMPEROR® 1600 distributed by DKSH is a high color, high structure, specialty carbon black. It features Cabot’s proprietary Softbead™ technology. Softbead technology improves industrial hygiene by reducing dust levels associated with the transport and processing of powder form carbon black.
- It imparts very high jet masstone, easy dispersibility, and good blue undertone performance.
- Its small particles provide excellent jetness and UV absorption for good exterior durability.
- It is used in solvent-borne automotive-, consumer electronics-, coil-, and high end industrial coatings.
- The recommended dosage level ranges from 20% to 60% weight on pigment.
- EMPEROR® 1600 is available in Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Myanmar.
