Crayvallac® PC

Crayvallac® PC distributed by DKSH is a flow-, leveling- and degassing agent. It is a micronized hydrogenated castor oil derivative surface enhancing additive. It is easily incorporated using conventional pre-mixing techniques prior to extrusion.

• It shows good compatibility with polyesters and hybrids.
• The use of product leads to a substantial improvement.
• This improvement is attributed to Crayvallac® PC, which enhances flow, leveling, and degassing processes during curing.
• It reduces the melt viscosity during this critical levelling stage in the cure cycle.
• This viscosity reduction also enhances the performance of other additives such as acrylic levelling agents and the degassing agent benzoin.
• It works well in both clear and pigmented powder coating systems based on PRIMID, Hybrid and TGIC technologies.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.5-2%.
• It has a shelf life of 4 years.
