Chroma-chem® UCD® 5100V

Chroma-chem® UCD® 5100V distributed by DKSH is a chrome oxide green pigment dispersion. The colorant vehicle consists of a low-molecular-weight acrylic resin dissolved in propylene glycol monomethyl ether (PM) acetate. The tinting strength of this colorant is controlled by volume to ±2% of the standard.

• Exhibits closely controlled color strength and viscosity to permit reproducible color matches by volumetric machine dispensers or weight measurement in the plant.
• Provides excellent wetting and dispersing properties.
• Offers long package life and freedom from caking and drying in open containers or dispensing equipment.
• It is compatible with most coating systems based on acrylic, nitrocellulose, alkyd, polyester, epoxy, epoxy ester, alkyd urea, alkyd melamine, urethane, polyester isocyanate and vinyl.
• It is also compatible with most aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ethers, ketones, and reactive diluents.
• It is thixotropic, which makes it resistant to separation by settling or syneresis.
• It is suitable for solvent-borne coatings.
• It is used in automotive OEM, concrete protection, general industrial finishes, marine and protective coatings.
