AP 6562 distributed by DKSH is a low viscosity, reactive, phenalkamine epoxy-based hardner solution for epoxy resins based lacquers and coatings.
- It shows rapid cure at low temperature down to 0 °C (32 °F) and good adhesion to marginally prepared surfaces.
- It exhibits good resistance to corrosion and aqueous alkaline, acid and saline solutions and high levels of mechanical stability.
- It is used in combination with liquid- or solid epoxy resin solution or epoxy resin modified by means of reactive as well as non-reactive diluents.
- Recommended for making high solids coating compositions with a workable wide range of pot lives.
- It is suitable for application with standard one-component airless spray systems.
- It is designed for marine and protective coatings e.g. ballast tank coatings, structural steel and concrete flooring etc.
- The shelf life of AP 6562 is 12 months.
