AP 1041X80 distributed by DKSH is a medium viscosity reactive, mannich- based amine hardener for epoxy resins based lacquers and coatings.
  • It is suitable for low temperature cure and has high level of mechanical stability.
  • It shows good adhesion to marginally prepared surfaces and resistance to aqueous alkaline, corrosion, acid and saline solutions.
  • Due to phenolic nature of this grade coatings based on it are likely to change color of the film when exposed to heat and sunlight.
  • It is used in combination with liquid- or solid epoxy resin solution or epoxy resin modified by means of reactive as well as non-reactive diluents.
  • Recommended for making high solids coating compositions with a workable wide range of pot lives.
  • It can be used for application with standard one-component airless spray systems.
  • It is designed for marine and protective coatings e.g. , structural steel , concrete flooring etc.
  • It can be used in combination with polyamides and other hardeners.
  • The shelf life of AP 1041X80 is 12 months.
