AHA2029 distributed by DKSH acts as a matting agent, in conjunction with the COOH-polyester resins, used in exterior durable TGIC based powder coatings. It is a deep modified, low wax-containing version of former AHA 2019.
- It achieves a gloss level as low as 5% (for black), excellent flow, and exceptional anti-yellowing properties.
- Additionally, it provides better flow, and improved overall technical performance.
- It is also characterized by excellent color stability and reduced volatility and odor during processing, while being easy to use and spray with one-shot application and offering better burnish resistance.
- Recommended dosage level is 3-5.5% based on total formulation by weight, depending on the gloss required.
