AHA2006 distributed by DKSH is a modified polyethylene wax-based matting agent. It is designed for outdoor-durable TGIC powder coatings, providing a gloss range of 30-40% and smooth matte finishes.
- It can also be used in other powder coatings, offering an appropriate semi-gloss finish.
- For the Primid system, approximately 60% gloss can be achieved however, it has a tendency to cause significant yellowing, so it is not recommended for this application.
- Recommended dosage level is 3% by total weight of formulation.
- AHA2006 has a shelf life of 3 years.
