Megaface DS®

Megaface DS® by DIC Corporation is a series of pyrolytic fluorosurfactants. Act as a leveling agent. These ground-breaking proprietary products leverage key organic molecular design and polymer design technologies. The fluoro groups oriented on the surface dissociate as a result of thermal processing (when heated to 200°C), thereby offering comparable surface tension (provided with no fluorosurfactants). Provide improved wetting with topcoats and enhanced workability by significantly reducing the time required for plasma treatment. Megaface DS® is suitable for electronic applications such as clear protective coating for color filters used in liquid crystal displays (LCDs).
