Deuteron® VT 855 by Deuteron is an anionic heteropolysaccharide (Xanthan Gum) in ethyllactate, stabilized. Acts as a thickening agent and stabilizer. Shows high pseudo-plasticity, i.e. the viscosity lowers, if the shearing stress increases. prevents a deposition of the pigments and fillers as well as a separation of the liquid phase during storage. Is compatible with most binders and thickeners which are customary in the paint industry. Deuteron® VT 855 is used for aqueous systems, such as dispersion paint, glue, dispersion plaster, water-dilutable lacquer, printing inks, silicate paint, aqueous pigment/filler preparations. Especially well suited for the building and do-it-yourself sectors. Dosage: Depending upon requirements 0,1 - 2.0 % calculated on the water proportion in the product.
