BMI -3000 GEL

Amorphous, low molecular weight, imide-extended bismaleimide oligomer. Exhibits excellent flexibility, excellent hydrolytic stability, excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates and thermal stability. It is hydrophobic in nature and is used as a toughener. It is soluble in most aromatic and aliphatic solvents such as toluene, NMP, etc. It is compatible with and can be incorporated directly into many resin systems for enhanced performance. When used as a base resin, it can produce films that are tough, flexible and demonstrate good peel strength.
