BMI -3000 (50% Toluene)

Amorphous, low molecular weight, imide-extended bismaleimide oligomer. It is used as a toughener. Exhibits excellent low pH hydrolytic resistance, excellent flexibility and thermal stability. It is soluble in most aromatic and aliphatic solvents such as toluene and NMP and forms very tough, hydrophobic polyimides on curing. When used as a base resin, it can produce films that are tough, flexible and demonstrate good peel strength.
