FluoroPel™ PFC1740G

FluoroPel™ PFC1740G by Cytonix acts as a fluorosurfactant. Provides exceptionally low surface tension in solvent-based products. It has been found to be an effective replacement for Fluorad FC-740 and Zonyl FSG in nonaqueous/ aliphatic solvent reducible applications. It is a non-ionic as well as combustile fluoroacrylate copolymer. Offers reduced cratering and improved wetting as well as leveling. Also offers pigment compatibility in inks, improved cylinder life in print equipment, and better paint definition. It controls surface tension in organic systems during the application of a solvent-based coating and also during the dynamic phase of drying and resin crosslinking. FluoroPel™ PFC1740G is effective at very low concentrations, typically only 0.1–0.5% by weight.
