FluorN 2900N

Supplied byCytonix- Last Updated on Jul 27, 2025

FluorN 2900N by Cytonix is a 100% solids high molecular weight non-ionic perfluoropolyether (PFPE) fluorosurfactant terminated with a polyethylene glycol. Acts as a wetting and leveling agent. Provides excellent flow, leveling, wetting and surface tension reduction. Reduces the surface tension of aqueous and polar solutions sufficiently to permanently wet. Provides smooth, pinhole-free films on PTFE and other low energy surfaces. It adds lubricity and hydrophobicity. It is alkylphenolethoxylate-free (APEO), stable to heat, acids and bases. It is a replacement for FC-430. FluorN 2900N is used in inks, and most acrylic, epoxy and urethane coatings. Recommended use level is between 0.0005-0.5% by weight. It is in compliance with the chemical notification requirements of TSCA (USA), REACH (Europe) and many other countries.
