Adamas® AE-640K-SP Splendor Copper by CQV is platy alumina coated with high refractive metal oxide. It is a pearlescent pigment with the appearance of lustrous brown, free-flowing powder. It is a blend of alumina (51-63 wt%), silane (0-2 wt%) and iron oxide (37-47 wt%). It exhibits excellent sparkle effect with small particle size. It imparts humidity resistance, weather resistance and color stability. It offers uniform thickness extremely smooth surface giving high chroma and value. It is compatible in various high performance resin systems. It is suitable for general metal finishing for exterior use. Adamas® AE-640K-SP Splendor Copper is used in architectural coil coatings and automotive/ transportation OEM and refinish coatings.
