Cortec® M-119LV by Cortec is a low viscosity, water-based corrosion inhibitor. Used in waterborne paints. Provides contact and vapor phase corrosion inhibition for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Improves salt spray and humidity resistance. Offers efficiency on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and galvanized steel, elimination of "in-can" corrosion and prevention of flash rusting. Not recommended for copper or its alloys. The recommended usage level of Cortec® M-119LV is 0.5-2%.
