Hostavin® 3130 LIQ by Clariant is a benzotriazole-based UV absorber. It offers excellent compatibility and high efficiency. It provides broad UV absorption, good photo permanence and improved light stability. It is suitable for solvent borne and waterborne paints and coatings with the addition of a co-solvent. It is used in all exterior coating systems, i.e. automative OEM clearcoats, general industrial and wood coatings. The recommended dosage is 1.0-3.0% (active additive on solid resin). Hostavin® 3130 LIQ has a shelf life of 2 years.
