SPACTIVE® GA 1010 by CHT Group is a high-performance defoamer containing silicic acid. It is a blend of an organomodified polysiloxane with hydrophobic solids in polyglycol. It offers a high persistence, prolonged antifoam effect during milling and after storage of ink, efficient defoaming and deaerating. It reduces foam on the printing machine.
- It is APEO-, VOC- and mineral oil free additive for pigment grinding and in shear intense let-down stages.
- It is used in pigment concentrates, foil coating, printing inks and overprint varnishes.
- It is compliant with FDA regulations and is suitable for applications with indirect food contact.
- The recommended usage level is 0.1-1.0% calculated on the total formulation.
- SPACTIVE® GA 1010 has a shelf life of 24 months.
