SPACTIVE® CT 1020 by CHT Group is a high performance, silica-based defoamer. It is APEO-, VOC-, organic solvent- and mineral oils free additive containing silicic acid. It exhibits efficient defoaming and deaerating, best balance between activity and compatibility. It provides high persistence-prolonged antifoam effect during production and after storage of the lacquer.
- It is suited for addition during let-down stage.
- It is designed for defoaming of pigment concentrates, water-based paints and lacquers, printing inks, wood-, seed- and industrial coatings.
- It is suitable for food contact applications and is FDA approved.
- The recommended usage level is 0.1-1% calculated on the total formulation.
- SPACTIVE® CT 1020 has a shelf life of 24 months.
