SILCO® AC 1002 by CHT Group is a leveling, wetting and dispersing additive for inorganic pigments and fillers in aqueous coating systems. It is highly effective and broadly compatible with water-based binder systems in alkaline medium. It has anionic character.
- It improves storage stability of pigment dispersions and formulated paints.
- It exhibits low foaming properties and is used for the dispersion of an organic pigments, titanium dioxide and fillers.
- It offers excellent color acceptance and water resistance.
- It is suitable for binder-free pigment concentrates.
- It is free from mineral oils, APEO, silicone, aromatic substances, and amines.
- SILCO® AC 1002 is used in architectural paints, printing inks, overprint varnishes, and water-based paints and coatings applications.
- It is recommended to use 5-10% active matter on inorganic pigments and 20-35% on organic pigments, based on total pigment weight.
- It has a shelf life of 24 months.
