Capstone® Fluorosurfactant FS-50

Capstone® Fluorosurfactant FS-50 by Chemours is betaine partially fluorinated surfactant. It is amphoteric in nature and significantly reduces the surface tension of aqueous solutions and is also useful in providing sustained foam. It enables the formation of a thin low surface tension aqueous film, which is useful for creating surface defect-free films over low surface tension or contaminated substrates. Used in latex paints and alkyd emulsions. It is compliant with with REACH requirements, listed on TSCA inventory and meets the goals of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program. The shelf life for Capstone® Fluorosurfactant FS-50 by Chemours is 5 years.
