Optislip™ SR (Bead) (Formerly Crodamide™ SR (Bead)) by Cargill is an internal, stearamine-based anti-blocking agent. It can be dispersed evenly through the polymer.
- It quickly migrates to the surface of the polymer to form a thin lubricating layer and is effective at low temperatures.
- Exhibits good mold release and is compatible with polyolefins and rubber.
- It reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and unwanted adhesion.
- The recommended usage levels are around 500-2000 ppm in films and 0.2-1.0 % in molding applications.
- Optislip™ SR (Bead) is applicable in inks and has a shelf life of 365 days.
