Optislip™ OR (Powder) (Formerly Crodamide™ OR (Powder)) by Cargill is an internal slip and antiblocking agent. It has a non-vegetable origin and exhibits quick migration properties in polyolefins.
- It forms a thin lubricating layer to reduce the coefficient of friction and unwanted adhesion.
- It provides good scuff resistance, high mold- and torque release.
- It is compatible with PVC, EVA, nylon and TPE.
- The recommended usage levels are around 500-2000 ppm in films and 0.2-1.0 % in molding applications.
- Optislip™ OR (Powder) is applicable in inks and has a shelf life of 180 days.
