Cardolite® LITE 2100

Supplied byCardolite- Last Updated on May 17, 2020

Cashew nutshell liquid modified hydrocarbon resin. It is a natural polymer used as an epoxy modifier. Provides excellent dilution efficiency and less effect on dry time than typical phenol modified hydrocarbon resins. Improves compatibility and flexibility of the epoxy system. Exhibits fast hardness development, very good chemical resistance, corrosion protection on immersed & vapor exposed surfaces and impact resistance. Possesses high hydrophobicity, excellent water-, moisture and UV resistance with excellent gloss retention for use in lighter color coatings. This low viscosity, low color, renewable product with high bio-content can be used to replace aromatic hydrocarbon modifiers that are based solely on petrochemicals. Suitable for high solids and solvent-free protective and industrial coatings. Recommended use level is =30%.
