Calyshield™ L110 by Calyxia is an advanced microencapsulated ester lubricant. It provides an outstanding and decoupling abrasion-, long-lasting abrasion-, scratch-, rub- and wear-resistance. It enhances surface lubricity without blooming. It is ideal for applications requiring durable performance with excellent control on product look and feel.
  • It is free from silicone, PTFE and formaldehyde.
  • It enhances clarity or color of the cured film and reduces lubricant leaching and improves stain resistance.
  • It provides surface lubricity with a long-lasting reduced coefficient of friction (CoF).
  • It is designed for superior coating and elastomer adhesion and shows good compatibility with many resin systems, including solvent-based, waterborne, hybrid coatings and powder matrices.
  • It is suitable for inks, fabrics, textiles and coatings applications.
  • Calyshield™ L110 is used in automotive, transportation, electronics & electrical goods, sporting goods, and performance fabrics.
  • It exists in two forms white powder and slurry.
  • The recommended usage level is 0.5-2% in powder form and 1-5% in slurry form can be integrated into the formulation.
  • Calyshield™ L110 has a shelf life of 36 months.
