ENOVA™ Aerogel MT 1100

ENOVA™ Aerogel MT 1100 by Cabot is a hydrophobic silica aerogel. Acts as a high performance matting additive. Offers ultra low gloss, extremely low viscosity build and tight particle size distribution for optimized performance as well as resists settling. Enables the lowest thermal conductivity possible in insulative coatings. Delivers exceptional burn protection, superior heat transfer resistance and improved energy efficience. ENOVA™ Aerogel MT 1100 imparts complementary performance to IR reflective and low-e coatings as well as extremely high single pass film build. When used as a post-additive for matting in the paint manufacturing process, it enables chemical/ water resistance, corrosion resistance / weatherability, film clarity, mechanical properties, sedimentation, thickening and other effects on rheology.
