LAPONITE® JS by BYK acts as a rheology modifier/thickener. Fluorosilicate modified with an inorganic polyphosphate. Offers smooth, coherent, electrically conductive and anti-static films. LAPONITE® JS is compatible with polyurethane, acrylic, vinyl acetate, SBR and polyvinyl alcohol. Used in paper coatings. It is also used in formulations to produce inkjet receiving coatings for full color printing.
