DISPERBYK® -2013

DISPERBYK® -2013 by BYK is a 100% solvent-free, wetting and dispersing additive. It is a styrene maleic anhydride copolymer. Exhibits excellent stabilization in 100% UV systems and in particular organic pigments and carbon black pigments. Shows effective viscosity-reducing effect, reduces thixotropic flow behavior and improves the long-term storage stability.

• Printing inks and coatings formulated with this additive shows superior optical properties, color strength and transparency.
• Coatings also exhibits increased gloss and reduced haze.
• Suitable for UV-curable, solvent-borne, solvent-free and aqueous coatings.
• It is recommended for pigment concentrates, industrial, coil, wood & furniture, marine and protective coatings.
• Used in food contact printing inks.
• Recommended dosage for printing inks is 15-25 % for organic pigments & 15-25 % for carbon blacks whereas for coatings is 15-35 % for organic pigments, 2-10 % for inorganic pigments and 20-70 % for carbon blacks.
• DISPERBYK® -2013 has a shelf life of 36 months.
