BYKJET® -9177 by BYK is a next-generation wetting and dispersing additive for perfect stabilization of organic pigments and disperse dyes in aqueous inkjet inks. It is an aqueous solution of a modified polyether. It increases color
strength and improves optical density, transparency, hiding power and gloss.
- It deflocculates pigments and stabilizes them by means of steric hindrance.
- It reduces viscosity and newtonian flow behavior.
- Recommended dosage level are 20-120% for disperse dyes, 8-40% for inorganic pigments, 20-120% for organic pigments and 20-150% for carbon blacks.
- BYKJET® -9177 has a shelf life of 36 months.
