BYK® -310 by BYK is a solution of a polyester modified poly-dimethyl-siloxane. Acts as a surface additive for solvent-borne and solvent-free systems. Provides strong reduction of surface tension. Provides improved substrate wetting and avoids cratering. Increases surface slip and gloss. Possesses increased scratch resistance and anti-blocking. Shows no thermal decomposition at temperatures between 150°C/302°F and 230°C/446°F. Exhibits no loss in adhesion and no surface defects. Used in coatings and printing inks, overprint varnishes. Recommended dosage level of BYK® -310 is 0.05-0.3%.
