ANTI-TERRA® -206

Solution of an alkylolammonium salt of an unsaturated fatty acid. Acts as a high molecular weight dispersing and wetting agent for solvent-borne coating systems. Prevents flooding and floating and settling of the pigments. Prevents the settling of silica based flatting agents, in acid-curing and nitrocellulose paints. Shows incompatibility with zinc dust, due to its low water content. Used in general industrial coatings, architectural coatings, protective coatings. Mainly used in anti-corrosion and marine paints based on alkyds, cyclo- and chlorinated rubber, and bituminous derivatives. Also used in shop primers and water re-ducible systems.
