Aromatic-free, solution of a carboxylic acid salt of polyamine amides. Acts as a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-borne coating systems. Offers improved pigment wetting. Reduces the sagging tendency. Exhibits no negative influence on the water sensitivity of the paint film. Shows compatibility with white spirits. Low polarity of the product increases its thixotropy. May cause discoloration in paints based on nitrocellulose or PVC-copolymers. Used in general industrial coatings, architectural coatings, wood and furniture coatings, protective coatings. Also used as anti-corrosive primers, thereby enhancing the protective properties.
