Reducing Agent TP 1853

Reducing Agent TP 1853 by Brüggemann is a formaldehyde-free, new advanced reducing agent. It can be used in redox systems in combination with all commonly used oxidizing agents.

• Offers high process robustness and improved properties for the resulting latices.
• Leads to a significant and fast decrease of free monomer content.
• Shows excellent performance for the emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate-based systems.
• It has a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored dry at 25°C.
• Reducing Agent TP 1853 is applied as a 3-5% solution in water with 0.05-0.2% active content on total formulation for post polymerization.
• Complies with FDA §175.300 and FDA §175.320 for resinous and polymeric coatings for polyolefin films.
