BRB Siloen® SMA281LC

BRB Siloen® SMA281LC by BRB International BV acts as a slip and mar resistance agent. It is a 65% active dispersion in water of very high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane gum. It has low cyclic content and is available as a flowable liquid for easy processing.

• It is effective at low addition levels and provides a low coefficient of friction.
• It provides excellent slip, reduced coefficient of friction, mar resistance, gloss, anti-blocking, and release properties.
• It offers good compatibility with almost all waterborne binder systems such as PU, acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, and polyester.
• It is used as a silicone additive for waterborne and solvent-based coatings.
• It is suitable for wood coatings, inks, overprint varnishes, and leather topcoats.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.05 to 3% in weight based on the total formulation.
