BRB Siloen® HPA 406

BRB Siloen® HPA 406 by BRB International BV is a non-ionic, APEO free, water-thinnable, 55% solid aqueous emulsion of a modified polysiloxane. It enhances water repellency and provides a beading effect without reducing water vapor permeability.

• It is solvent free and suitable for many waterborne paint systems or plasters such as acrylics, silicate, and siloxane systems.
• It can be used as a water-repellent primer on material substrates and also as a hydrophobing agent for insulating materials.
• It provides superior hydrophobicity with low water absorption for silicone-based masonry paints and cement-based mortars.
• It enhances beading effect while minimizing dirt pick up and enhances processability along with anti-blocking characteristics in paints.
• It is used as an additive in masonry coatings and aqueous primers.
