Borchi® Gol LA 6 by Borchers (Milliken) is a polyether modified polysiloxane additive for solvent-based coating systems for improved substrate wetting, flow and leveling. It provides slip and block resistance and can inhibit the formation of surface defects.
- It can lower the surface tension of a wide range of formulated systems.
- It promotes high gloss and less haze in cured finishes.
- It is designed for use in air-drying alkyd and acrylic finishes, hydroxyl bearing acrylics and polyesters, polyester melamines, epoxies and certain UV systems.
- The dosage level of Borchi® Gol LA 6 is 0.1-0.5% of the total weight of the formulation depending upon the binder system and which property is being addressed.
