Borchi® Gol 1473 by Borchers (Milliken) is a VOC- & solvent-free flow and leveling agent. It is a 100% active polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. It is recommended for topcoats that are cured at room temperature and below 150°C. It is suitable for solvent- and water-based systems, as well as solvent-free systems.
- It provides improved surface smoothness by reducing orange peel and preventing formation of craters.
- It shows broad compatibility in various systems.
- It can be used in a wide variety of binders.
- The dosage level of Borchi® Gol 1473 is 0.05-0.50% of the total weight of the formulation depending upon the binder system.
