Borchi® Gen 1750 by Borchers (Milliken) is a high molecular weight, VOC-free wetting and dispersing agent. It is specifically designed for stabilizing transparent & opaque iron oxides, inorganic pigments and extenders in water-based coating systems.
- Low viscosity grinds allow for up to 40% pigment loading with transparent iron oxide pigments and over 60% with opaque iron oxides.
- It offers color intensity, depth and cost-effectiveness.
- Borchi® Gen 1750 possesses small particle size dispersions producing high transparency.
- It provides long-term dispersion stability with no settling is possible when combined with Borchi® Gel PN or NA.
- Suitable with titanium dioxide and other inorganic pigments and fillers.
- It is used in automotive and wood coatings.
- The recommended dosage level for transparent iron oxide is 50-70%, titanium dioxide is 4-8%, inorganic pigments is 5-15% and organic pigments is 25-70%.
