Supplied byBomar- Last Updated on Sep 6, 2022

Acrylamidomethyl-substituted cellulose ester polymer. Responses very rapidly to the curing. Also acts as a rheology modifier, and as an adhesion promoter, which once cured will chemically crosslink into the matrix which keeps the material from leaching out. It is free-flowing. Offers excellent abrasion, chemical, and impact resistance. Coatings have less turbidity and improved clarity due to the material solutibility. The hydrophobic and hydrophilic segments make it an excellent compatibilizer for materials of differing polarity. It enhances surface hardness without impacting clarity. Provides low haze to the coating system. Recommended for UV or radiation cure coating system. Suitable for flexoprinting, overprint varnish (OPV) and UV printing ink. The dosage rate is 2-10% by weight in most applications.
