Raven 1080 Ultra (Surface oxidized, “Treated” product) by Birla Carbon is low structure, medium surface area carbon black. It is available both in bead and powder form. It exhibits high gloss, high purity for improved filterability and low viscosity that enables high pigment loadings. It offers excellent jetness and blue undertone. It provides greater uniformity, universality, increased compatibility, improved dispersion, better processing, longer screen life, enhanced color development and reduced scrap. Raven 1080 Ultra is suitable for high quality inks including heatset-, sheetfed-, UV-, packaging inks and coatings. It is indirect food contact approved.
