Loxanol® MI 6840 by BASF is a water repellent.
  • It is alkaline paraffin wax emulsion in water.
  • It improves the hydrophobic properties of the film, affects the drying time and prevents skin formation on the surface.
  • It prolongs open time, reduces mud cracks and lowers snail trail tendency.
  • Loxanol® MI 6840 is designed for textured finishes and water-based exterior paints.
  • Recommended dosage is 0.5 – 2% calculated on total formulation.
