Loxanol® MI 6840 (Old Name: Basophob® WDS) by BASF is a water repellent. This grade is alkaline paraffin wax emulsion in water. Improves the hydrophobic properties of the film, affects the drying time and prevents skin formation on the surface. It prolongs open time, reduces mud cracks and lowers snail trail tendency. Loxanol® MI 6840 is designed for textured finishes and water-based exterior paints.
