Laromer® LR 8986 by BASF is a high viscosity epoxide acrylate. It is free of reactive diluents and provides good chemical resistance and good scratch resistance. It can be diluted with polyether acrylates to formulate monomer-free topcoats, primers, and sealers. Laromer® LR 8986 is used in radiation-curable coatings and printing inks for wood, wood-based products, paper, and plastics.
